    FAQs

    Telehealth:

I’m working with couples online. I believe that telehealth is an effective way to assist couples in forming secure relationships.

I am licensed to provide telehealth couple therapy to couples living in NY, Maine and Florida.

    Session Length:

I recommend that the initial session be scheduled for 3 hours and we shorten sessions to 2 hours or 90 minutes as we move forward.
How frequently sessions are scheduled and how long the process will take is dependent on a number of factors which I can discuss in our initial 30 minute consultation (see below for more info). I will provide you with a receipt after each session.

    Health Insurance:

I am not registered with any insurance provider networks. I will provide you with a receipt for the service I provided and you can submit for out of network reimbursement. Whether you will obtain reimbursement is ultimately the decision of your insurance company.

My Schedule & Using the Online Scheduler:

I use an online scheduler and you can schedule the date and time that works for you.
I encourage scheduling dates in advance so you have your preferred session time reserved.
I’m seeing couples online on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with earliest session at 9:30 am and last session at 3:30 pm.

    Resources for Couples:

I highly recommend the book “We Do” by Dr. Stan Tatkin, my mentor for the last decade.

In this podcast, I discuss my work with couples. I appear about 20 minutes
    in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LI-8N3C3xg

    The Next Step:

Please schedule a “30 minute Intro to PACT.”

During that online consultation, we will discuss what you are seeking from the process and you will get a sense of what it would be like to work together online. There is no charge for this consultation. Both partners need to be in the same physical location and using the same screen for the Intro consultation.
